Clinical Manager, Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Provides psychiatric evaluation, medical assessment, and intervention to clients in Behavioral Health programs, including medication management and ongoing assessment. Acts as a key resource for clinical and operational guidance, supporting team outcomes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborates with mental health providers and community agencies, participates in team meetings, maintains client records, and evaluates the need for hospitalization. Offers clinical supervision to staff, contributes to policy development, and promotes client participation in treatment plans. Involved in crisis resolution and special projects, ensuring high-quality behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within one year.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in behavioral health; experience in substance use treatment preferred for CCBHC roles.
• Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
• DEA license and valid driver’s license may be required based on operational needs.
