Clinical Manager, Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and intervention for clients in Behavioral Health programs. Acts as a key resource for clinical and operational guidance, collaborating with mental health providers and community agencies. Performs advanced nursing care in compliance with state, federal, and program regulations, ensuring quality client outcomes. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, maintains accurate records, and evaluates clients for hospitalization when necessary. Offers clinical supervision to staff, contributes to policy development, and supports crisis prevention and resolution efforts. Engages in community programs and special projects to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and registration in NY, with Board Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health within one year.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program; specialized PMHNP degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in behavioral health; experience with substance use treatment and familiarity with OASAS regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
