Clinical Manager,Dialysis, Outpatient Clinics and Perioperative Programs

Full-time, non-union position in the Medicine department at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.

About the role

As the Clinical Manager, you will coordinate daily operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The position oversees staffing, resource management, and clinical performance, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development. This leader also plays a key role in advancing evidence-based practice, supporting strategic goals, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The Clinical Manager collaborates with Physicians, Directors, Managers, Team Leads, and other staff members to ensure teamwork, achievement of targeted outcomes, and the effective and efficient use of resources within the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the direction of all patient care and flow within the nursing units of the hospital to ensure effective communication between interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with leadership, managers, physicians, team leads, and team members to ensure effective coordination of efforts for optimal patient care.
• Contribute to quality improvement, including Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) strategies on weekends and holidays across all hospital programs.
• Support the planning, education, and integration of Externs.
• Provide direction and guidance to manage issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field (e.g., Nursing); Master’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of recent related experience, including three (3) years of relevant clinical experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required or willingness to obtain.
• Certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

Pay

$59.57 - $70.76 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, although hours may vary depending on the needs of the business.
