About the role

As part of a major hospital redevelopment project scheduled for Fall 2028, staff will have the opportunity to work in a modernized healthcare environment featuring enhanced patient care spaces, advanced diagnostic technology, and innovative clinical services designed to meet the evolving needs of our growing community.

As the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of daily operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The position oversees staffing, resource management, and clinical performance, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development. This leader also plays a key role in advancing evidence-based practice, supporting strategic goals, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The Clinical Manager collaborates with Physicians, Directors, Managers, Team Leads, and other staff members to ensure teamwork, achievement of the targeted outcomes, and the effective and efficient use of the resources within the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the direction of all patient care and flow within the nursing units of the hospital to ensure effective communication between interdisciplinary teams;
  • Collaborate with leadership, managers, physicians, team leads and team members to ensure effective coordination of efforts for optimal patient care;
  • Contribute to quality improvement, including IPAC strategies on the weekends and holidays across all hospital programs;
  • Support the planning, education, and integration of Externs;
  • Provide direction and guidance to manage issues as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Nurse;
  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field (e.g., Nursing); Master’s degree preferred;
  • Five (5) years recent related experience including three (3) years relevant clinical experience and two (2) years supervisory experience;
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required or willingness to obtain;
  • Certification in Perioperative Nursing preferred.

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and time-management skills;
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to function both independently and as an inter-professional team member in a fast paced demanding environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and public relations skills;
  • Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all;
  • Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients, family and staff;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, patient databases and scheduling software;
  • Demonstrated commitment to, and understanding of, the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion;
  • Demonstrated appreciation and respect for protocol, professionalism and confidentiality;

Pay

$59.57 – $70.76/Hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, although hours may vary depending on the needs of the business.
