Job Summary As the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of daily operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care. The position oversees staffing, resource management, and clinical performance, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development. This leader also plays a key role in advancing evidence-based practice, supporting strategic goals, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The Clinical Manager collaborates with Physicians, Directors, Managers, Team Leads, and other staff members to ensure teamwork, achievement of the targeted outcomes, and the effective and efficient use of the resources within the hospital. Key Responsibilities Coordinating the direction of all patient care and flow within the nursing units of the hospital to ensure effective communication between interdisciplinary teams; Collaboration with leadership, managers, physicians, team leads and team members to ensure effective coordination of efforts for optimal patient care; Contributes to quality improvement, including IPAC strategies on the weekends and holidays across all hospital programs; Supports the planning, education, and integration of Externs; and Provides direction and guidance to manage issues as they arise. Qualifications And Experience Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field (e.g., Nursing); Master’s degree preferred.Five (5) years recent related experience include three (3) years relevant clinical experience and two (2) years supervisory experience.Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required or willingness to obtainCertification in Perioperative Nursing preferred. Skills And Abilities Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work in a continuously changing environment, to identify variances and implement strategies to achieve desired patient care outcomes. Ability to apply collaborative and systems approach to resolving patient flow and access issues utilizing critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to supervise. Ability to coordinate care within available resources, including the ability to develop and modify staffing deployments. Ability to effectively employ human relation skills including conflict resolution. Ability to contribute to the professional and organizational vision as it pertains to clinical practice and patient care. Demonstrates excellent organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrates initiative and the ability to function both independently and as an inter-professional team member in a fast paced demanding environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and public relations skills. Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all. Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients, family and staff. Proficiency in MS Office, patient data bases and scheduling software.
