Position Overview
Circle Of Hope Services Houston is a client-centered organization dedicated to assisting children and adults in the community to achieve their best selves and live their best lives. We seek a Clinical Manager with clinical leadership skills to support our mission.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Lead Clinical Manager to fulfill Houston Circle Of Hope's mission.
- Oversee assigned staff, including direct and indirect supervision of patients, case managers, and QMHPs.
- Train, plan, assign, direct, appraise, reward, and coach staff members.
- Monitor and complete intakes, therapeutic sessions, enter reassessments into a work database, complete/approve treatment plans, read/review clinical notes, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide compliance reports to the Lead Clinical Manager.
- Approve daily progress notes in the share note system.
- Conduct monthly supervision meetings with staff.
- Take school observations and monitor client progress regularly.
- Address complaints, resolve problems, meet with clients and parents, troubleshoot tasks, manage work flow, and maintain thorough and detailed records of supervisory relationships.
- Address ethical and legal issues with supervisees to enhance their confidence and competence.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree from an accredited University.
- A current license from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (LPC) or Licensed Social Workers (LCSW) in good standing.
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience working with crisis situations, victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or physical abuse, administering evidence-based treatment, and conducting psychosocial assessments.
Qualifications
- Licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist.
