About the role

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for educating the medical community on all aspects of the Hospital and its services with emphasis on the referral and admission process. Performs clinical assessments to determine appropriate patients for admissions to the Hospital. The Clinical Liaison will select most effective strategy (face-to-face, group presentation, direct mail, tours, workshops, etc.) for each contact. Exchanges ideas, information and messages readily and effectively, both in oral and written form, as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient updates to physicians, payers, and other referral sources.
• Selects most effective strategies for each contact.
• Performs clinical assessments to determine appropriate patients for admissions.
• Exchanges ideas, information and messages in oral and written form.

Requirements

• RN or RT with acute care experience, preferably in an ICU.
• Healthcare marketing experience can be used in lieu of RN/RT.
• Regional travel required.
• Residence in/or near Fayette County preferred.
• Employee must own or lease personal automobile and have the ability to drive a car for multiple hours.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
