Clinical Lecturer for the Radiological Sciences Program
Position Specifics
Penn State Schuylkill is seeking a full-time Clinical Lecturer for the Radiological Sciences Program.
The successful candidate will be joining a program that maintains strong clinical partnerships and student relationships and facilitates high levels of student success; the 5-year average ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) exam pass rate is 97% on first attempt and the 5-year average job placement rate is 100%.
Supervisory Duties
- Supervising students daily during their clinical experience while at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center
- Performing competencies, labs, and activities with students
- Evaluating students
- Providing guidance
- Implementing best practices for students in successfully completing their semester clinical objectives
- Communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders
Additional Travel Responsibilities
- Participation in program meetings
- Collaboration with faculty performing labs during the first six weeks of the Fall semester
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Additional ARRT certification required
- Current registration in Radiography
- Experience in evaluation of students and familiarity with the JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Standards preferred
