About the role

The Clinical Instructor position at the Sovah School of Health Professionals is a full-time role, working weekdays only, 32 hours per week. The position is based in-person at the campus of Sovah Health - Danville.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and grade students in clinical environments.
  • Serve as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Design, implement, and assess learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.
  • Serve as a member of the Advisory Committee and participate in the programs' accreditation process.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Hold an Associates' degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Hold licensure by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professionals.
  • Have one year of experience as an ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Be a member of the Virginia and American Societies of Radiologic Technologists (preferred).

Pay

Your base compensation will range from $20.56 to $30 per hour, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Schedule

This role requires a full-time, in-person schedule on weekdays only, with 32 hours of work per week.
