Clinical Instructor - Radiology

About the Role

We are seeking a Radiology Clinical Instructor to mentor and oversee students in the Medical Radiography Program. This role involves coordinating clinical education, performing radiologic procedures, evaluating student performance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for clinical education
• Supervise and coordinate clinical activities for students
• Perform radiologic procedures and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic and technical guidance
• Act as a liaison between departments
• Train staff on radiographic procedures and safety protocols
• Manage supplies and maintain equipment
• Support patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology
• ARRT certification
• State license or eligibility
• At least four years of radiologic technologist experience

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five years of radiologic technologist experience
• Educational mentorship background

• Strong interpersonal and teaching abilities
• Excellent organizational and technical skills
• Proficiency in radiographic procedures and patient care
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Physical capability to transport patients, handle equipment, and demonstrate dexterity
