Position Specifics

Penn State Schuylkill is seeking a full-time Clinical Lecturer for the Radiological Sciences Program. The successful candidate will be joining a program that maintains strong clinical partnerships and student relationships and facilitates high levels of student success.

Supervisory Duties

  • Supervise students daily during their clinical experience while at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center
  • Perform competencies, labs, and activities with students
  • Evaluate students
  • Provide guidance
  • Implement best practices for students in successfully completing their semester clinical objectives
  • Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders

Additional Travel Responsibilities

  • Participate in program meetings
  • Collaborate with faculty performing labs during the first six weeks of the Fall semester

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Additional ARRT certification required
  • Current registration in Radiography
  • Experience in evaluation of students and familiarity with JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Standards preferred

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
