Clinical Lecturer for the Radiological Sciences Program
Position Specifics
Penn State Schuylkill is seeking a full-time Clinical Lecturer for the Radiological Sciences Program. The successful candidate will be joining a program that maintains strong clinical partnerships and student relationships and facilitates high levels of student success.
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise students daily during their clinical experience while at the Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center
- Perform competencies, labs, and activities with students
- Evaluate students
- Provide guidance
- Implement best practices for students in successfully completing their semester clinical objectives
- Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders
Additional Travel Responsibilities
- Participate in program meetings
- Collaborate with faculty performing labs during the first six weeks of the Fall semester
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher plus 3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Additional ARRT certification required
- Current registration in Radiography
- Experience in evaluation of students and familiarity with JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Standards preferred
