Clinical Lead Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)

About the role

A dynamic and experienced Clinical Lead Therapist is needed to lead our clinical team in New York City. Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, this individual will oversee the therapeutic process, ensure quality care, and mentor junior therapists.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the therapeutic process and ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols
• Mentor and support junior therapists in their professional development
• Collaborate with the clinical team to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery
• Conduct regular supervision sessions with therapists to provide feedback and guidance
• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new clinical staff

Requirements

• Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with evidence-based practices and treatment modalities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality
