Trinity Health Livonia is a full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, offering comprehensive services including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care, cancer care, cardiology, geriatrics, and birthing and women's health. The Clinical Leader is a collaborative leader of the care team, responsible for coordinating and facilitating optimal care through daily management of unit operations in accordance with American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. The role is accountable to practice per standards established by Trinity Health leadership and external regulators/accreditation agencies, actively promotes the Trinity Health Model of Care and the nursing profession in fulfillment of the Trinity Health Quality Plan for Nursing, drives nursing practice through facilitation of shared governance, and abides by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate optimal provision of care through daily management of unit operations
- Practice in accordance with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance
- Adhere to standards established by Trinity Health leadership and external regulators/accreditation agencies
- Promote the Trinity Health Model of Care and the nursing profession
- Drive nursing practice through facilitation of shared governance
- Abide by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization (preferred)
- Membership in a professional nursing organization (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 45 days from date of hire or transfer for all inpatient bedside care areas, and inpatient and outpatient surgical services
