Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee responsible for performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality. Key Duties Assess specimen acceptability and process samples following established protocolsPerform routine and complex laboratory procedures in accordance with departmental SOPsMonitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper functionConduct preventative maintenance, quality control, and reagent preparationReport accurate test results while maintaining a safe work environment with appropriate PPE Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory ScienceProficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to pass a standardized color blindness testASCP or AMT certification preferredThree months or more clinical laboratory testing experience preferred
