Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee in Histology Responsibilities Perform technical grossing and specimen processing following standard protocolsOperate and maintain laboratory equipment such as tissue processors and stainersPrepare slides via microtomy, manual cover slipping, and case compilation for pathology reviewExecute quality control checks and manage specimen logistics and documentationConduct safety checks, handle chemical reagents, and maintain laboratory inventory and archives Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency with computers; experience with laboratory information systems preferredHigh attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skillsPass standardized color vision screeningASCP or AMT certification preferred3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience preferred Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour plus shift differential
