Clinical Laboratory Scientist Supervisor

About the role

This position involves overseeing laboratory operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. The role includes coordinating, planning, and monitoring lab activities, documenting results, ensuring staff training and staffing levels, maintaining quality control and calibration, and managing the work area. Additionally, responsibilities extend to supervising specimen collection and processing and assisting with budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a recognized Medical Technologist (MT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) program, meeting the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988 requirements
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Certification as a registered MT (ASCP/AMT), HTL, or equivalent
