Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research of biological fluids, such as blood or saliva for disease prevention.
• Plan and execute laboratory testing and medical research.
• Provide advice, conduct research, and manage laboratory operations.
• Attend trainings, continued education programs, seminars, and conferences to learn, compare best practices, and collaborate with other top professionals in the field.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree from a DA-approved accredited college or university.
• Must have a certification in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) with one-year work experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty.
• Must have a permanent U.S. residency to serve in the Army Reserve.
