Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
- Prepare reagents and accurately report results per established policies
- Perform and oversee moderate-to high-complexity laboratory testing
- Maintain laboratory computer applications and documentation
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and supplies
- Assist with training, orientation, and competency assessments of laboratory personnel
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Support workflow, communication, and collaboration within the laboratory team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Certification & Licensure: Required - State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
- Experience: Clinical laboratory experience required
