Role Overview
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II, you will perform advanced laboratory testing while supporting team development, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Performing advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
Preparing reagents and reporting results according to established policies and procedures
Conducting moderate to high complexity laboratory testing
Maintaining laboratory systems and ensuring operational efficiency
Assisting with training and orientation of testing personnel
Evaluating staff competencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Promoting accuracy, compliance, and high-quality laboratory standards
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Technology OR a related field (Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field)
Experience: (2) Years of Clinical laboratory experience
Licenses/Certifications: State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
