Clinical Laboratory Scientist II
Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Lab oratory Scientist II, also referred to as a Medical Technologist (Med Tech).
The Clinical Lab Scientist II (CLS II) requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
CLS II play a significant role in the diagnostic process, contributing to patient care and treatment.

Responsibilities
- Licensed Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) or Medical Technologists (MT) with no prior experience (new graduates) are encouraged to apply.
- This can be an entry-level position classified as CLS I with no experience.
- Essential Duties And Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Perform laboratory tests on blood, tissues, and other bodily fluids to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and conditions, this may include routine tests as well as specialized tests
- Interpret lab test results and identify any abnormalities, ensure the accuracy and reliability of these results to assist doctors in making informed decisions about patient care
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards in laboratory testing, you may also calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests performed and their results, input data into our laboratory information systems
- Ensure all laboratory operations comply with hospital policies, governmental regulations, and accreditation requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of hospital laboratory work experience required
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1423)
- Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required
- Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: ASCP certification, or equivalent preferred

Time: 8 -hour shifts – 6:00am to 2:30pm
