Clinical Lab Technician, Helena Specialty Center (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Performs patient specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes, under the direct supervision of a medical technologist.
• Enters all results into the computer system.
• Brought urgent value test results to the attention of the medical technologist and/or pathologist.
• Cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes various equipment and work areas in the laboratory.
• Processes specimens in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and the blood bank.
• Aids in the overall efficiency of the office by performing other duties as needed for patient care.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, accuracy, and handling constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, handles stressful situations, and handles conflict.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Science preferred.
• Montana Certification/Licensure as a Medical Technician Exemption.

Qualifications

• Non-Exempt starting wage of $28.11/hourly.
• Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
