Clinical Lab Scientist/MLT, Lab (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Obtain specimens for laboratory testing
• Perform laboratory tests on various instruments including hematological, blood banking, chemical, microscopic, or microbiology examinations
• Maintain an acceptable level of performance across Pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical processes

Requirements

• Competency in quality systems
• Provides orientation and evaluation of new personnel
• Knowledge of patient’s unique needs in all age groups
• Able to communicate effectively
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, be accurate, and manage constantly changing situations
• Ability to interact with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflicts

Qualifications

• Registration as Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technologist with one-year experience in highly complex methods is preferred
• Montana license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist required
