Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine laboratory tests in one or more departments in the Clinical Laboratory.
- Follows the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results.
- Responsible for all aspects of documentation and compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies.
- Completes assignments on time and utilizes time effectively.
- Supports cost containment efforts through the conservation of supplies, care of equipment, and increased productivity.
Requirements
- Clear/Active Clinical Laboratory Technician Florida license.
- 3 years current and continuous lab experience, with a proven record of consistent and accurate performance.
- Training and experience in working with Beckman Coulter analyzers.
- Computer experience or course work in computer and data processing is required.
- Beckman Coulter: AU480 Chemistry Analyzer, Access 2 Immunoassay Analyzer, LH 750 Hematology Analyzer, ACL Elite Coagulation Analyzer.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Benefits
- Morning shift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Evening shift: 4:00 pm - 12:00 am
- (part time/full time)
