Outpatient Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, Helena Northeast Clinic (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Processes laboratory specimens and reports results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.
• Fulfills laboratory policies and procedures.
• Maintains laboratory records and quality control practices.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, handles stressful situations, and handles conflict.
• Performs all job duties or tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Complies with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.
• State Licensure as a Medical Technologist in the following specialties: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology.
• Certification preferred.
