Clinical IS Anlst-(Epic)-Associate

About the role

This position is responsible for application(s)/module(s) of Epic. It requires self-starters who can adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced, agile environment. The role involves collaborating with and providing tier-one support to teams and counterparts from other applications.

Responsibilities

• Works with requestors and users to understand and document current workflow with an eye toward proposed future workflows.
• Presents recommended system enhancement opportunities and creative technical solutions for clinic-related scenarios.
• Develops, documents, and adheres to internal procedures related to Epic applications.
• Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.
• Performs ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications.
• Creates test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow changes.
• Tests clinical information system configuration and processes, including testing across applications.
• Coordinates and participates in requestor and user testing of application changes.
• Provides tier-one support to end-users both remotely and in-person.
• Maintains and resolves incoming tickets.
• Serves as a liaison between users and vendors.
• Coordinates system fixes and changes with software vendors.
• Coordinates the deployment of application changes with the training team and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical and analytical thinking proficiencies.
• Organizational management skills and ability to multitask.
• Basic project management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience).
• Epic certification/proficiency in any module preferred.
