Responsibilities

  • Assists with build, testing, and implementation activities
  • Supports patient experience initiatives specific to dental and ambulatory care
  • Contributes to projects that improve access, communication, and care coordination
  • Supports project coordination efforts for smaller initiatives
  • Develops and maintains documentation
  • Engages professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors
  • Works with requestors and users to understand and document current workflow
  • Presents recommended system enhancement opportunities and creative technical solutions
  • Identifies, proposes, builds, and demonstrates prototypes of application configuration options
  • Performs ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications
  • Creates test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow changes
  • Participates in requestor and user testing of application changes
  • Provides tier-one support to end-users both remotely and in-person
  • Maintains and troubleshoots incoming tickets
  • Serves as a liaison between users and vendors
  • Coordinates system fixes and changes with software vendors
  • Coordinates the deployment of application changes with the training team and operations

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical and analytical thinking proficiencies
  • Organizational management skills and ability to multitask
  • Basic project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (4 years of comparable experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Epic certification/proficiency in any module preferred
