Responsibilities
- Assists with build, testing, and implementation activities
- Supports patient experience initiatives specific to dental and ambulatory care
- Contributes to projects that improve access, communication, and care coordination
- Supports project coordination efforts for smaller initiatives
- Develops and maintains documentation
- Engages professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors
- Works with requestors and users to understand and document current workflow
- Presents recommended system enhancement opportunities and creative technical solutions
- Identifies, proposes, builds, and demonstrates prototypes of application configuration options
- Performs ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications
- Creates test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow changes
- Participates in requestor and user testing of application changes
- Provides tier-one support to end-users both remotely and in-person
- Maintains and troubleshoots incoming tickets
- Serves as a liaison between users and vendors
- Coordinates system fixes and changes with software vendors
- Coordinates the deployment of application changes with the training team and operations
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Critical and analytical thinking proficiencies
- Organizational management skills and ability to multitask
- Basic project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years of comparable experience may be substituted for a degree)
- Epic certification/proficiency in any module preferred
