Requirements
- Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT).
- LMHC supervision available. Cannot take LICSW supervision requirements at this time.
- Our program has internship availabilities for Fall 2024, Winter 2024 and Spring 2025.
- Please note: At this time, we are prioritizing students who can complete either both their practicum and internship at the program or just their internship. We do not accept practicum-only students due to the level of care we provide and need students to be on-site more frequently.
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.

About the Role
Glenhaven Academy is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Glenhaven provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
Responsibilities
- Receive both individual and group supervision.
- Participate in weekly clinical meetings, SMART trainings and clinical groups.
- Support the overall needs of the clinical department and program.
- Support students in the milieu and school setting.
- Have the opportunity to do adjunctive case work with 1-2 clients through partnering with a Masters-level clinician and facilitating an additional individual therapy session each week.
- Complete all documentation related to the clinical chart including individual and group progress notes and treatment plans.
