Clinical Intern

About the role

JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In this position, you will support this mission by conveying your passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new clinical interventions to support youth and families.
• Explore and apply evidence-based modalities in your clinical practice.
• Develop and enhance your documentation skills using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support youth and families in their homes and communities.

Requirements

• Minimum working towards a Master’s Degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
• Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
