About the role
The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor position for the Speech-Language Pathology program.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor graduate student clinicians in various settings.
- Provide clinical services to patients in various settings.
- Provide service to the department, university, and profession.
- Participate in clinical simulations.
- Provide clinically relevant teaching.
- Participate in professional development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Evidence of at least three years of clinical practice, with a focus on pediatric services.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with graduate student clinicians.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and Texas licensure (or eligibility).
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent and consistent experience supervising graduate student clinicians in direct clinical service within the last three years.
- At least 8 years of recent, direct speech-language pathology service provision to clients aged 3 to 12 years old.
- Availability for some late afternoon and early evening service delivery.

Pay
