Clinical Instructor

About the role

Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical instruction at various healthcare settings, fostering academic growth, and guiding students towards professional success.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
• Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes students' academic and professional development.
• Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
• Evaluate student competence based on the program's philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation methods to assess student learning and clinical experiences.
• Attend faculty meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Current valid State RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

• Relevant work experience contributing to student learning.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate clinical rotations and student needs.
