Clinical Instructor
About the role
Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. We are committed to providing high-quality clinical instruction at various healthcare settings, fostering academic growth, and guiding students towards professional success.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
- Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes students' academic and professional development.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records for students.
- Evaluate student competence based on the program's philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation tools to assess student learning and clinical experiences.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
- An MSN degree is preferred.
- A valid State RN license is required.
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

The schedule for this position is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the program and the individual's qualifications.
