Clinical Instructor
About the Role
The Clinical Instructor is responsible for hands-on training and professional development of students in the imaging technology division. This role coordinates clinical practice at the hospital with academic classes at the affiliated community college(s), functioning as the Clinical Instructor for all modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. The position provides direct supervision of clinical experience in General Radiology and coordinates clinical experiences for MR, CT, US, and Nuclear Medicine with the respective department Leads.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technical experience as a radiographer, including proficiency in General Radiology, Fluoro, and OR
- Previous experience in the Clinical Instructor role preferred
- Strong human relations, communications, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, both personnel and operations
- Complete knowledge of all computer systems (PACS, EPIC)
- Valid ARRT registration
- Valid IEMA license where applicable
- Valid CPR registration
