Clinical Informatics-Education Specialist - Remote
About the role
The Clinical Informatics Education Specialist at Enterprise Information Services is a key member of the team, transforming complex EHRs and information systems into clear, engaging, and user-friendly learning experiences. This role works closely with clinical informatics partners, system analysts, and stakeholders to design smart, efficient curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver smart, efficient curriculum rooted in adult learning and real-world workflows.
- Create dynamic virtual classes and self-paced eLearning content.
- Develop multimedia content, training environments, and provide go-live support.
- Ensure users feel confident, capable, and supported through a focus on adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Support the adoption and optimization of Epic and other system applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, Healthcare, or equivalent education/experience.
- Within 6 months of hire: Epic certification in one or more Epic modules as assigned.
- Active license as a Registered Nurse by the affiliated State Board of Nursing of the State where the individual lives, if applicable.
- 2 years experience in roles focused on designing and writing education and training materials and/or delivering training.
- 2 years experience in a position working with and/or supporting business and/or clinical information systems within a healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- Coursework/Training in a healthcare related field, or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience supporting working in a multi-site healthcare organization.
- Experience in a position working with Epic.
- Experience with designing eLearning content for and use of interactive and video software such as Captivate, Articulate, and Camtasia.
- In-depth experience supporting multiple EPIC service lines in an acute setting, with certifications/accreditations reflecting this.

Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to changing technologies, and a passion for improving patient care through education and training.

Pay
Base pay range varies by location, ranging from $30.59 to $64.91 per hour.
Schedule
Full time, with multiple shifts available.
