Clinical Hematology - Community Clinic Vineyard
About the role
The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Institute is seeking to recruit a clinical hematologist with an interest in adult community hematology. The academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with blood disorders and hematologic malignancies in a compassionate and patient-centered environment.
- Focus clinical responsibilities on classical hematology, as well as malignant hematology, with an emphasis on lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
- Deliver clinical care predominantly in the outpatient setting at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at Vinyard, Utah.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent degree) with board certification in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Hematology.
- Possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a dedication to a career in academia.

Schedule
Faculty members are internationally recognized as both clinicians and clinician-scientists. In response to continued growth of the division's clinical programs, the successful candidate's clinical responsibilities will focus primarily on classical hematology, as well as malignant hematology, with an emphasis on lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
