Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing and overseeing testing procedures, ensuring specimen quality, troubleshooting instrumentation, and maintaining laboratory operations in accordance with SOPs to deliver accurate results. Key Duties Assess specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex testsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipmentMake technical decisions related to testing and problem solvingPrepare and evaluate reagents and controlsReport accurate test results promptly to support quality patient carePerform preventive maintenance and quality control activitiesManage supplies and assist with specimen processing as neededMaintain a safe work environment and adhere to PPE guidelines Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical, Biological science, or related fieldHematology MT FL State LicensePreferred: 3+ months clinical testing experience, ASCP or AMT certificationStrong understanding of lab operations, policies, and high-volume testingProficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsAttention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in teamsPhysical capability to perform testing duties and pass a color blindness testFlexibility for overtime or shift work based on business needs
