About the role
The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute seeks to recruit clinical faculty, with rank dependent upon qualifications. The division comprises 36 full-time faculty members specializing in various subspecialties, engaged in comprehensive clinical, translational, and basic research in Hematology. Huntsman Cancer Institute, the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in the Intermountain West, offers top-tier research resources including transgenic facilities, genome-wide scanning technologies, and drug development platforms.
Responsibilities
- Provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment for hematologic cancers in a compassionate care environment
- Engage in cutting-edge research aligned with the division’s goals
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians across the institution
- Contribute to medical education and training
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Hematology
- Possession or eligibility for a Utah Medical License
- Initiative, curiosity, and dedication to an academic career
