Hematologist

About the role

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in an established hematology and medical oncology practice affiliated with the MaineHealth Penobscot Bay Medical Center, an integral part of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a range of both malignant and benign hematologic conditions
• Participate in subspecialty, system-wide multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Support the development of subspecialty clinics for those with subspecialty interest

Requirements

• Prior experience in oncology within an academic health system or academically-oriented private practice is preferred
• Strong candidates in the early stages of their careers will be considered

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
• Experience in an academic or private practice setting
