About the role

The Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, seeks a part-time teacher-clinician for up to 2 days per week, 40 weeks per year. This role involves supervising clinical student learning experiences in the discipline, with a focus on the Redwood City Navigation Center.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting standards of care for the Dugoni School of Dentistry student clinic and participate in faculty and staff development.
• Participate in mandatory faculty calibration and development in clinical areas.
• Supervise students and staff on-site at the Redwood City Navigation Center. Specialists will provide services and supervise students in their specialty (e.g., oral surgery, endodontics, dental hygiene).
• Engage in school, university, professional, and community service opportunities.
