Position Summary
The Prosthodontics department in the Indiana University School of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for a non-tenure track clinical assistant professor position. This will be a 12-month appointment at the rank of assistant professor starting July 1, 2026. The new faculty member will join a tradition of excellence and contribute to scholarship, education, clinical service, and community engagement.
Basic Qualifications
- Has a DDS/DMD or equivalent dental degree
- Has a certificate of advanced education in Prosthodontics from a Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA) or Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) accredited program (by the time of appointment)
- Has obtained or will obtain an unrestricted Indiana dental license or an Indiana dental faculty license by the time of appointment
- Has experience in the digital dentistry workflow in prosthodontics and implantology
Additional Qualifications
- A master’s degree (or other advanced academic degrees) in the fields of Education, Prosthodontics, Dental Material, or Implantology
- Experience teaching at the predoctoral level
- Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics
- Certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from a program accredited by CODA or CDAC
Salary and Rank
Rank and salary will be based on the applicant’s credentials and experience.
