About the role
The position is located at System Office, Livonia, MI. It serves as a frontline, department-based supervisor, providing clear direction and managing or advancing people, processes, structures, and/or programs that support direct or indirect care.
Responsibilities
- Provides advice, guidance, and leadership to RHM and Region leaders in developing strategies and achieving performance goals.
- Enables collaboration across and within service areas, RHM, and Regions to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations.
- Leads standardization/systemness and optimization of policy, process, methodology, establishing a national community of practice.
- Oversees Vendor/Contract Labor Management including centralizing strategy and optimizing spend.
- Collaborates in system-wide strategy development and deployment of functional area priorities and initiatives.
- Supports regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities.
- Accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the functional leadership teams.
- Works as an organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies and governance over financials and staffing.
- Communicates between service area functional area, RHM, and Regions leaders.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in relevant field, such as business administration, management, or a related discipline.
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of progressive experience in healthcare technology management or similar industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of professionals with ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve high performance.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and practices.
