About the Role
A Clinical Educator specializing in a defined medical specialty, responsible for staff education, performance optimization, and ensuring compliance with system initiatives and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and validate adoption of system programs and initiatives within the specialty.
- Provide staff education, including just-in-time training, coaching, and resource support on clinical performance and documentation.
- Collaborate with specialty leaders and subject matter experts to identify educational needs and achieve organizational goals.
- Offer feedback to enhance clinical practices and electronic health record (EHR) optimization.
- Support onboarding processes and participate in hospital committees related to the specialty.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related experience, experience in clinical education, and specialty certifications.
- Experience in clinical areas such as critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical-surgical preferred.
