Clinical Educator - Specialty Nursing

About the role

A Clinical Educator specializing in a defined healthcare specialty, responsible for staff education, clinical performance, and documentation improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and validate the adoption of system programs and initiatives within the specialty.
  • Deliver staff education, including just-in-time training, coaching, and resource support on designated units.
  • Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify educational needs and achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide feedback to enhance clinical practices and EHR optimization across the system.
  • Support onboarding processes focusing on clinical performance and documentation; participate in hospital committees related to the specialty.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Preferred: Experience in clinical specialty areas (perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, medical-surgical).
  • Preferred: Experience in education or training.

Skills

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
