Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement nursing clinical education programs and clinical competence.
  • Plan, organize, and execute education/training programs identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
  • Assist in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, and adherence to legal and financial regulations.
  • Provide feedback and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they apply to areas of responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the education team and facility leadership on global hospital education initiatives as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current, unrestricted Oklahoma RN License.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience, with nursing education experience.
  • Critical Care Services experience.
