A healthcare organization in Queens is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator, Critical Care to support the ongoing development and training of nursing staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maternal child health nurse who enjoys mentoring others and helping shape the next generation of clinical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering education programs for maternal child health nursing staff
• Supporting and coordinating the nursing orientation process for new hires
• Leading portions of departmental orientation and onboarding sessions
• Evaluating staff competency through observation and collaboration with nursing leadership
• Training staff on new equipment and maintaining education and training documentation

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Active New York State RN license, CCRN, and BCLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of CCU/ICU clinical experience
• Teaching or staff education experience preferred; specialty certification a plus

Pay

$145,000 to $158,000
