About the Role
The Clinical Educator develops, implements, and organizes education activities at individual, departmental, and hospital-wide levels.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and support quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Monitor performance data to support continuous improvement.
- Lead education projects, committees, and team development activities.
- Provide coaching, subject matter expertise, and support clinical practice changes.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and ensure compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and licensing requirements.
- Utilize learning management systems for program support and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
- Licensed as an RN with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; instructor certification within 3 years.
- 3-5 years of recent clinical experience demonstrating mastery of relevant skills.
- Previous experience in adult education.
