Clinical Educator (RN)

About the role

The Clinical Educator develops, implements, and organizes educational activities across departments and the hospital, including onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate training programs to support staff development and organizational objectives.
• Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and implement quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Monitor performance data to foster continuous improvement.
• Lead education projects, committees, and team-building activities.
• Provide coaching, expertise, and support to staff and leaders.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and adapt practices to regulatory changes.
• Utilize learning management systems for program support and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Master's preferred).
• RN licensure and BLS certification (within 3 years).
• 3–5 years of recent clinical experience with mastery of relevant skills.
• Previous adult education experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
