About the role
The Clinical Educator develops, implements, and organizes educational activities across departments and the hospital, including onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff training.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate training programs to support staff development and organizational objectives.
- Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and implement quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Monitor performance data to foster continuous improvement.
- Lead education projects, committees, and team-building activities.
- Provide coaching, expertise, and support to staff and leaders.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and adapt practices to regulatory changes.
- Utilize learning management systems for program support and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Master's preferred).
- RN licensure and BLS certification (within 3 years).
- 3–5 years of recent clinical experience with mastery of relevant skills.
- Previous adult education experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
