Clinical Educator Radiology

About the role

The Clinical Educator at St. Vincent School of Radiology will oversee clinical education programs and supervise students in practical settings. Key responsibilities include coordinating clinical education programs, maintaining clinical documentation, evaluating student performance, conducting and coordinating student clinical rotations, and developing and administering exams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the college, clinical sites, and site instructors.
• Maintain all clinical documentation and evaluate student performance.
• Cook conduct and coordinate student clinical rotations, ensuring effective hands-on training.
• Develop and administer exams aligned with didactic courses and clinical objectives.
• Promote and maintain an educational environment compliant with program policies, HIPAA, and FERPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology and enrolled in continuing education programs of the accredited professional discipline.
• Medical Radiographer: AR, and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Preferred

• Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in the profession.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical imaging discipline or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years practical experience in the profession.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $31.53 - $46.90 /hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a part-time employment type.
