Clinical Educator - Labor & Delivery
About the Role
The Nurse Senior – Educator works in a collaborative environment within the Labor & Delivery Department at Holy Cross Health to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This position focuses on evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care, treating the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Using the Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance and applies the nursing process to plan and manage care for routine patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
- Leads, delegates, and serves as a mentor to others on the team.
- Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN required; MSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
