Position Overview

The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Essential Functions

• Manages and oversees nursing and clinical support staff (i.e. clinic RNs, Home Care RNs, MAs Schedulers, Med Room RN, Medical Records/HIM)
• Provides clinical support decision making and direction as needed.
• Conducts audits, works with regulatory agencies and Quality Manager to gain insight on trends.
• Maintains regular attendance at, and participates in, all interdisciplinary team meetings, communicating participant changes, collaborating on care planning decisions and coordination of 24-hour care delivery.
• Supports nurse and clinical support employees by providing coaching and mentoring, ensure that clinic staff works within their scope of practice, implements team building, and provides feedback and redirection as needed.
• Ensures that job responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of direct reports are defined and understood.
• Performs role of Clinic RN if needed.
• May need to assist team in providing assessments off site (facilities/home) depending on staffing needs and participant needs.
• Assumes role of clinic nurse and provide direct patient care and management when needed to meet clinical operation's needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Masters preferred
• Five years of clinical long-term care experience, including one year with frail elderly population, and five years of supervisory experience.
• AHA BLS.
