About the role
The Physical Therapist Clinical Director oversees the operations and administration of a rehabilitative outpatient clinic providing Physical and Occupational Therapy. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations and healthcare requirements, patient evaluation and treatment, and managing clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Meet clinic and individual clinician census goals
- Scorecard review weekly with Regional Clinical Director
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Manage facility maintenance
- Interview and hire clinical, administrative, and support staff
- Train and onboard clinical staff, evaluate performance
- Resolve performance issues and escalate to Human Resources
- Maintain staff compliance and monitor patient NPS scores
- Monitor clinic budget, clinical supplies, and expenses
- Perform EMR schedule reviews weekly
- Conduct new patient evaluations and audit weekly
- Manage physician referrals, direct access reviews, and other outreach visits
- Support staff in expense management, scheduling, and hiring/termination
- Adhere to discharge policies and lost patient logs
- Order clinical supplies monthly
- Participate in weekly calls with Regional Clinical Director and meetings with Operations Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with a Doctorate degree preferred
- Professional License/Certification in Physical Therapy required
- Valid CPR license
- Minimum of three years' clinical outpatient experience and two years' clinical supervision or clinical program development experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Ability to troubleshoot, make decisions, and maintain composure in conflict situations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Pay
Salary range is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
